A Very Merry Bromance

I freaking love this series. It's ridiculous - over the top - highly unbelievable - yet so so enjoyable. A Very Merry Bromance is the 5th book in the Bromance Book Club series and highlights Colton, the Nashville country superstar. He falls hard for Mack's ex, Gretchen and they spend one unbelievable night together. After which she ghosts him and he spends the next year pining after her. Little does he know that she really Nashville royalty herself she comes from the prestigious and ultra rich Winthrop family, a fact that most aren't aware of. She refuses to have anything to do with her family's frivolous lifestyle and spends her time practicing immigration law pro bono to try and make the world a better place. Does she think that Colton is too privileged to be considered? Or is there romance in the air. Set against a Nashville Christmas scene. Lots of fun. 

Isn't it Bromantic?

I really enjoyed getting to learn the Russian's mysterious backstory - and I thought it was a realistic romance with some big miscommunication. It was a little over the top in some areas, but on the whole I enjoyed the storyline. Instead of the Bromance Book Club reading a bodice ripper - they are instead reading Vlad's manuscript. He's been writing a romance novel in secret and they are going to help him finish his book AND fix his marriage to the elusive Elena. Elena hasn't been seen since the wedding as she's been in Chicago working on getting college degrees. When Vlad gets injured during a hockey game she comes back to care for him out of a sense of duty and obligation. He is after all her husband. But what if they could have a real marriage instead of the sham one they are both in. Cheesy and cute. Good fluff. I hope there are more in the series!

Crazy Stupid Bromance

This series is the most enjoyable and over the top fluff. The perfect antidote for 2020! Each installment of this series focuses on a different member of the bromance book club and focuses on their romantic foibles. Crazy Stupid Bromance centers around Noah and his feelings for his best friend Alexis. Since he helped expose her previous boss for sexual harassment with his IT skills and hacking they've been inseparable. But it's clear that they both want more than friendship and neither is willing to admit it. Noah joins the bromance book club against his better wishes because he's willing to do whatever it takes to never lose Alexis. To complicate things though - Alexis finds out that she has a sister. She grew up with only her mother and never knew her father. Butt now a long lost sister wants to see if she's willing to donate a liver to save their father - a man she's never met. Where has he been her whole life? She's got a lot on her plate so good thing she has Noah to lean on. Will a new relationship strain their friendship though? As always lots of fun, witty banter, and light reading. 

Undercover Bromance

I didn't enjoy this as much as I enjoyed the first in the series, but I did like that it was the same group of people. This one focused on Braden Mack the founder of the bromance book club (and the only single guy in it) and Liv, Thea's younger sister. Liv is fired from her prestigious sous chef job after catching her boss sexually harass one of her co-workers. She's determined to bring him down and expose him to the world, to her chagrin though, that means she'll need a little help (her former boss has blackballed her from the entire restaurant industry) from her arch nemesis Braden. Will all the romance books that he's read come in handy? Or is Liv beyond him and any other guy? Humorous, pretty unbelievable, but a fun, fluffy read!

The Bromance Book Club

This book was enjoyable albeit highly unrealistic. But hey that's the joys of fiction; reading unrealistic romance, lmao. Major League baseball player, Gavin Scott is living in a motel after his wife kicked him out. All he wants is to get his wife and twin daughters back but is at a loss to do so. Enter a bunch of other pro athletes and all around "bros." They toss Gavin a paperback bodice ripper and tell him to get reading. For years they've had an underground club where they read romance books written for women, by women, to help improve and understand their relationships with their wives, fiances and girlfriends. They take pity on Gavin and let him in their inner circle and Gavin is not ready. He has to read romance?!?! And it's going to somehow save his marriage? Like I said, unbelievable as shit.... but still  amusing, well written, and cute.
