That's So '90s Pop!

Fill in activity/ coloring books keep getting more ridiculous and wonderful. This is no exception. Filled with 90s pop icons such as the Sprice Girls, R. Kelly, Aaron Carter, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, TLC, Destiny's Child and more there is a little something in here for everyone. They even have some slightly obscure gems such as Lil' Kim's two truths and a lie, the Lou Bega word search, Kriss Kross Kriss Crossword, and more. Besides coloring there is trivia, crossowrds, haikus, mazes, hangman, and word searches. The quality of some of the celebrities leaves a little to be desired and another drawback is that the pages aren't perforated and don't rip out easily, but overall the creativeness and bizarenees makes up for it. Who doesn't want to color Alannis Morissette?!?

David Bowie Retrospective and Coloring Book

Not only is this book visually appealing, it is cool as hell and fun to color. This year we lost a great but his memory is enshrined in this fun and interactive coloring book. Not only are there iconic pictures re-imagined as coloring pages but there is basic information as well as discographies, awards, and other tidbits about his life. I was beyond pleased to see two pages dedicated to his role in Jim Henson's classic, Labyrinth. His fashion is fun to color and thankfully this isn't a SUPER hard adult coloring book, I think it's fairly simplistic with a little bit of a challenge, you don't need a magnifying glass to get to any tiny lines. My only beef is that the binding makes it harder to hold open and color and that the pages aren't perforated for easy ripping out and displaying of your completed artwork. Other than that this coloring book is a slam dunk and a must buy for any David Bowie fan.

Pop Manga Coloring Book

A fun and funky coloring books that fans of manga will eat up. The coloring book is on the large side so not easily frame-able but you'll want to display these pretty pages when you're done coloring them. It's filled with adorable creatures, big eyed beauties, underwater awesomeness and a little chibi that pops up on some pages and offers coloring advice. It was hard to find a page to start with because they were all begging to be colored! My only beef with this coloring book is that the pages aren't perforated so it's not easy to rip out your masterpieces when you're done. Other than that, it's really beautiful. A bonus is, that even though it's a paperback, it has a removable dust jack that has a large bonus coloring page on the inside of it. Win!

Whatever is Lovely

One of the most beautiful religious adult coloring books on the market. I could not find a single fault with it. Even those who aren't overly religious will find themselves enjoying this coloring book. Beautifully illustrated, each page contains a proverb or psalm and has images to evoke the essence of the words for the reader color. As the book says, this book will help people color their way to peace and it isn't lying. The pages are one sided and perforated for easy rip outs which will entice many to frame or hang up the finished creations. For fans of coloring and Christianity. "Whatever is Lovely" will make the perfect gift for many this Christmas!

Every Little Thing

I love that adult coloring books are trending. Finally! Now I'm not a weirdo, it's the cool thing to do! Out of all the adult coloring books, nature seems to be the predominant theme and "Every Little Thing" does well to capitalize on that. Filled with adorable woodland animals, retro designs, and whimsical everyday items, this sketches fill each page with hours of enjoyment. Set up to look like a kaleidoscope or wallpaper, this coloring book will literally melt the stress right off your shoulders. My only wish was that the pages were perforated for easy removal and that not all the designs were double sided. All in all, a great coloring book filled with detail to get your mind off all your problems.
