This graphic novel reflects on the history of women's soccer, her youth spent playing soccer and what it meant to be a young female in the 80s, the ramifications of title IX, and growth of women's sports. The illustrations are top notch and the story is timely and inspiring. A must read for athletes, feminists, and more!
